A first experiment with risography. This image is getting printed in a limited edition by Marco Useli at 74/b & Milano Printmakers  on high quality paper and with soy-based inks. 

Both its contents and support are environmentally friendly and can be turned into compost once, centuries from now, art will have exhausted its purpose.

Domani l'Associazione Autori di Immagini sara' a SENAPE Vivaio Urbano a Bologna e il sottoscritto raccontera' il lato B della professione di fumettisti e illustratori.
Si parlera' di lavoro, diritto d'autore, fisco, negoziazione, valore del lavoro, diffusione e tutela delle nostre immagini.

Ci muoveremo dai principi alla pratica, cercando di vedere le cose dal punto di vista di creatori e utilizzatori, vedremo insieme quanto sia realistica la speranza di tutela da parte della Legge e i limiti che può essere opportuno porre per mantenere il controllo sulla diffusione dei nostri contenuti in rete, sia per quanto riguarda la promozione, che per le pubblicazioni remunerate.
Si parlerà anche di tempo, di concessioni e licenze e il futuro stesso delle nostre opere, dell’importanza dell’Europa e della collaborazione all'interno e tra associazioni di categoria.

PIG in the TREE

A new small painting is close o completion. 
The little red swine is double checking that I and everyone else here are going to vote for the European elections later today.
In some countries vote is mandatory, while in others people don't like to participate and take responsibility.
That's really a pity. It's taken centuries for common citizens to earn the right to have a say. I think we should all take the opportunity.

FLOWER

Very often we are so distracted by our lives' routine that we don't see or forget what's really important for us.
This old work of mine was meant to be the cover for a single of the band I used to play in. It's simply called: "Flower", music and lyrics by Antonello Brogna, played by Lapsus.
