A visionary man with a mission that's been translated into a very complex project involving electric cars, solar energy, tunnels, integrated energy storage and distribution, cheap and effective (and spectacular) access to space, high-reliability autonomous guidance systems, ubiquitous high-speed internet access, smart resource management and lots more.
His vision? Building a human colony on Mars before the end of this decade and, when time comes, retire there.
At present he's a beacon of inspiration such as we've never seen. His openness is unknown of in a technological industry so shy when sharing their progress, successes and failures.
No matter what one may think of the person, this guy is changing the world a bit at the time, day after day and, honestly, it's a Great show!
This is another portrait of a series made
