HERE, NOW with Rrubie the Bird

A new painting's on the way.
It talks about protection and mutual cooperation in times of crisis such as these where the news are filled with statistics about the Covid-19 pandemic and more than often are not mentioning the far greater challenge to the planet's environment represented by climate change.

It's not a time for hope, but for action. The first step is to spread awareness on the damages that human as a species, are causing to all the others that are sharing this ride on 'Mother Earth' with us.

FRIDAYS for FUTURE - NO MORE DIESEL!

One of the few positive effects of the lockdown is that, for a brief moment in history, traffic and pollution levels have gone down to acceptable levels. Now that everyone's life is progressing towards 'normality', we should ask ourselves what that means.
Is it acceptable to keep breathing the same polluted air when we all know there are viable alternatives to Diesel powered cars?
We should keep complaining with our governments to take action, but, while we wait, we should start acting on our own first.

LET'S TAKE OUR BIKES AND USE OUR LUNGS TO FILTER EVERYONE'S AIR!

There's no better way to appreciate freedom than being deprived of it. 
Our freedom though, comes with an environmental cost which we have been trying to remove from our conscience for far too long. We are the only polluting species on this planet and we are still pretending it is not so.
