PATHS of CHANGE -
Some cities, like us, occasionally get tired of being located always in the same place.

An AUTUMN SYMPHONY
MUSIC
The first movement, as everyone knows, happened on a Saturday morning, at dawn, at the occurrence of a rainstorm, when the first drops of rain began to chant rhythmically before the downpour.
The first movement, as everyone knows, happened on a Saturday morning, at dawn, at the occurrence of a rainstorm, when the first drops of rain began to chant rhythmically before the downpour.
More than 65,000 years
have passed, but the echoes of that first intuition can still be felt, just
before every event, every beginning of every story.
An AUTUMN SYMPHONY
In order to be likable, a symphony must have plenty of notes, all of them set in order and at the right place. Thus one can listen to it and then go home satisfied. Even our society should work the same way and hopefully someone is aware of that.

THAT IDEA: THE QUIET REVOLUTION - 2012
"Ci avevo già pensato prima io." - "Non è vero, sei solo
invidioso."

RRUBIE TREE n.1 - L'ALBERO DI RRUBIE n.1
My first attempt with sculpture. This one is made with bronze, cypress wood and blown glass from Murano (Venice).
Rrubie is a Taiwanese Red Oriole, a remarkable fowl keen on staring at people and making arbitrary assumprtions. She's smart enough to restrain herself from letting us know about the results of so much thinking. We thank her for such consideration and sensibility.
This piece is on display at Openbox Art Gallery, Taichung - Taiwan

MOVIMENTI – MOVEMENTS -
Paolo Rui 2012個展
MOVIMENTI
Chi non preferisce l'azione all'immobilitá?
quale momento migliore. In ogni modo non c'é altra via, chi si ferma é perduto;
muoviamoci dunque, ma dove andiamo?
Movement
is what distinguishes from inanimation: it's progress rather than stasis, it's
a smile instead of indifference. Who would not prefer action to immobility?
Better jump hither
and thither amongst the infinite possibilities provided to us by our human
imagination and personal initiative than stand still waiting for who knows what
better time.
In any case, there is no other way, he who hesitates is lost;
let's
go then, but where do
we go?
