HISTORY VI - 1226 La SOLLEVAZIONE dei TOMBINI - The MANHOLES's UPRISING

Lo Asino di Buridano, in visita da Parigi, testimonio fu de l’istrana sollevatione de’ tombini cui fine massimamente pacifica reco’, cum grandissima satisfacione de’ popolo et contado tutto. La cittadinanza ad eterna et durabile memoria puose MCCXXVIBuridan’s ass, visiting from Paris, witnessed the strange uprising of the manholes which it bestirred itself to bring to a most peaceful ending, with greatest satisfaction of the whole population and peasantry.
